PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluates the validity of risk information provided by the affiliates as well as those found in various websites and Publisher reports.
- Registers validated risk information in the Profiler application.
- Identifies the appropriate risk type relevance and service applicability.
- Defines the key elements necessary for efficient matching to achieve good and relevant results.
- Ensures that the alert messages and recommended actions are clear and concise to facilitate users understanding.
- Guides the Risk Management Team (RMT) of the affiliates in the registration of risk records in Profiler and interpretation of the generated Profiler Report.
- Ensures that the integrity of Profiler is maintained.
- Conducts periodic reviews of the registered risk records to validate if the risks are still relevant and updates Profiler accordingly.
- Assists in the completion of tasks assigned to the Risk Specialist as needed.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validates risk information by:
- Confirming the accuracy of the data against available documents
- Verifying with the affiliates unclear or inconclusive data and
- Assessing if the data conforms to the core definition and explanatory notes of the identified risk type.
- Declines risk information that has not been validated and advises the affiliates of the rationale behind this.
- Defines the key elements necessary for efficient matching by:
- reviewing historical data to validate how the goods at risk are normally declared
- predicting alternative ways of declaring the goods at risk
- assessing the relevance of the contact details of entities at risk and
- rejecting nonrelevant contact details of entities at risk.
- Checks the daily list of works in progress that are automatically sent by Publisher via email and audits the risks records in New or Data Entry Completed status that have been registered by the RMT/other PCC Risk Analysts.

Qualifications :
Professional qualifications
- University degree preferably Customs Administration.
Experience / Technical knowledge
- Preferably with one year of work experience in SGS operations as an Analyst.
- Good background in trade transactions.
- Good presentation skills.
- Knowledgeable on the principles of valuation and classification.
- Experience/training in risk management.
- Computer literate and knowledgeable in Office Windows applications.
Language
- Proficient in oral and written English.
