Job Description

To track consumer trends in the Tech & Durable goods sector NIQ relies on data exchanges with retailers in the industry whether they operate physical stores or online platforms. 

The primary purpose of this role is to improve NIQs position within the Tech and Durable industries (Electronic Telco IT DIY Automotive Optics). The Retail Partnership manager will leverage their network and industry understanding to forge pivotal connections with key industry stakeholders within retail. This role demands a strategic blend of expertise and industry acumen enabling effective planning and execution of ambitious projects. 

The position is of strategic importance as the successful execution of these responsibilities is anticipated to elevate retail data partnerships enhance service quality and open new business opportunities. Contributions via this role will be instrumental in shaping the future trajectory of GfKs growth and success in the Tech and Durable markets in Italy.  

 

Responsibilities 

The Partnership specialist will play a pivotal role in driving recruitments targets by establishing data partnerships with mediumsmall retailers in several distribution channels across the country and focusing on the following key areas: 

  • Identification of Key Industry Touchpoints: Actively identify and engage with vital industry touchpoints facilitating the introduction and promotion of NIQs Tech and Durable data partnership model. 

  • Improve coverage through retailer recruitment: Investigate and facilitate new data sourcing using various methods; direct approaches industry organizations software providers etc always aiming to expand and diversify the reach of NIQs data partnerships 

  • Adapt Proposition: Take a leading role in refining and enhancing GfKs value proposition. This involves a deep understanding of industry dynamics and customer needs to ensure that offerings and go to market are competitive and relevant 

  • Refinement of Pitch Documents: Provide expert feedback on pitch documents ensuring they are compelling and also effectively aligned with industry expectations and standards. This includes crafting persuasive narratives and tailoring messages to resonate with targeted stakeholders 

  • Internal Coordination: maintain close relationship with data science team to finetune our universe studies and with the Operations team for the integration of new retailers and banners. 

  • Commercial excellence is your daily routine: building action plans nourish and follow your pipeline look outside the box to open doors and negotiate the best agreement with our new partners. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Min 35 years of related experience. 

  • Solid sales skills and developed sales expertise in target scope. 

  • Solid understanding of data analytics industry business model products services and solutions. 

  • Solid understanding of market trends and its interdependencies impacting customers. 

  • Fluent in Italian and English language

  • Availability of visiting clients located mainly in Central/Northern Italy (candidates car availability is a plus essere residente a Milano o Provincia ed automunito/a)

Location and Travel Requirements 

Based in Northern Italy the role is designed to be conducted in an Hybrid mode with some working days in the local office in Milan. Mutually agreed travel will be required such as attending industry events or participating in face to face meetings. All travel will be subject to approval and based on business needs.

Full time role with immediate start date
