Job Description

Job Type: Part Time 20 Hours Contract

Hourly Rate: 14.35ph 

Key Responsibilities

  • To organise and deliver a successful events in the venue
  • Monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guest and clearing throughout the event
  • To liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with Searcys standards
  • To brief the waiting team on all aspects of the business and to oversee the running of the daily operations alongside the retail manager
  • To assist on the development of the waiting team making sure that they adhere to standards laid down by the management team and provide training as required especially on the areas of food and beverage service
  • To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to such as The Food Safety Act Health and Safety at Work Act the COSHH regulations etc. within the areas of responsibility
  • To ensure that all staff present themselves correctly dressed for duty and are well groomed whilst on duty
  • To deal effectively and courteously with customer complaints and refer all complaints to the line manager if necessary
  • To carry out regular checks of the business centre and training academy areas for maintenance housekeeping and other health and safety issues. Report to the line manager
  • To ensure in house accounting policies are adhered to and monitor food and beverage control including performing stock take
  • Promote good teamwork and work in a friendly efficient manner
  • To be able to work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks without being directed
  • Comply with all Company and Client policies and procedures

Qualifications :

  • Excellent product knowledge (food/beverage)
  • Experience in meetings/business centre service
  • Lead by example always acting in a professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Responds quickly to drive business through periods of low demand
  • Takes the initiative
  • Excellent time management
  • Supportive / Team player
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in supervising and leading a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
