Are you an experienced culinary professional ready to take the next step in your career Were looking for a FullTime Sous Chef who thrives in a highpaced qualitydriven kitchen and is passionate about leading and inspiring a team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
As Sous Chef you will work alongside our Executive Chef and senior kitchen team to oversee the daily operations of our diverse culinary outlets including restaurant banquets inroom dining and events. Your focus will be on maintaining the highest food standards managing service delivery and mentoring junior chefs to grow within our kitchen brigade.
Salary & Benefits:
We are offering a competitive annual salary of $75000 to $85000 plus superannuation based on skills and experience. This role provides a rewarding opportunity within a luxury hospitality environment with scope for professional growth and recognition.
Qualifications :
Your role will include:
Assisting in the development and execution of innovative menus and seasonal offerings
Leading and motivating the kitchen team to consistently deliver quality timely service
Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Managing stock ordering and kitchen organisation
Contributing to staff training development and performance feedback
Supporting the Executive Chef with rostering cost control and daily operations
What were looking for:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a similar fastpaced hotel or restaurant environment
Strong leadership communication and team coordination skills
A handson solutionsfocused approach with a keen eye for detail
A passion for food creativity and guest satisfaction
Understanding of HACCP and WHS requirements
Availability to work a flexible roster including weekends and events
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a highpaced qualitydriven kitchen environment
Formal culinary qualifications (e.g. Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse kitchen team
Indepth knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) kitchen operations and cost control
Demonstrated experience with a variety of cuisines and contemporary food presentation styles
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail and consistency
Flexible to work a rotating roster including weekends nights and public holidays
