The Opportunity

Monash University is seeking an outstanding and motivated Research Fellow to join the School of Physics and Astronomy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to leadingedge research in theoretical condensed matter physics with a strong focus on correlated quantum phenomena the following areas:

  • Ultracold atomic gases
  • Lightmatter systems

As a Research Fellow you will conduct independent and collaborative research publish in highimpact journals and present findings at major international conferences and workshops. You will also mentor and support PhD and honours students within a dynamic and researchintensive environment.

The successful candidate must hold a PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics or a closely related field.
