Configuration Management Specialist Commercial PLM Aircraft Civil Certification ODA Team
This position will be located onsite at Bells Commercial Business Center in Fort Worth TX and supports Engineering Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) activities for Commercial Aircraft. In this role you will be reviewing and uploading aircraft engineering designs and related modifications. You will manage engineering data correction consolidation or system migration to support Bells Commercial Aircraft.
What you will be doing as a Configuration Management Specialist Commercial PLM:
Manage Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Item Deliverable (DID) requirements.
Execute the change process configuration management data management and productrelated data maintained in the ENOVIA environment.
Determine and apply the proper data marking to deliverable information and ensure adherence to contract scope and export regulations.
Monitor the stability and health of the Engineering BillofMaterial and Planning BillofMaterial for the assigned program and provide feedback to data owners regarding data issues.
Execute the change process configuration management data management and productrelated data maintained in the ENOVIA environment.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal Bell and external customers (USG regulatory agencies partners OEMs and suppliers).
Coordinate with contracts organization and customers regarding new or changing requirements.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to resolve issues and provide specific direction to data owners to ensure compliance.
Monitor engineering release and provide appropriate and compliant data submittals to requesting or contracting customers.
Review program engineering configuration control methodology and variations in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment (ENOVIA) and provide specific direction to data owners that will prevent process or system issues and to ensure proper standards and quality are established and maintained.
Skills You Bring To this Role:
At least 2 years of experience working with engineering data and data systems using CATIA or ENOVIA or similar PLM/PDM.
Understanding of roles tasks policies and procedures required to execute the change process configuration management data management and productrelated data maintained in the ENOVIA environment.
Practical knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and associated markings. Knowledge of U.S. export control (EAR/ITAR) regulations.
Familiarity with the Configuration Management principles and methods contained in ANSI/EIA649B ISO 10007 and MILHDBK61A.
Familiarity with the Data Management principles and methods contained in DISESS81000E DoD Directive 5230.24 and MILSTD31000A.
What you need to be successful
At least a completed Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferring Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degrees.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
