Job Description
Clean Harbors/SafetyKleen is looking for a Local/ Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Kingsland GA! This route runs fromKingsland GA to various locations in GA/FL/AL/SC. MondayFriday with some Saturday work. 1014 Hours per day. Driver would be assigned to day cab tractor. Main responsibilities would be shuttling UMO from St. Marys rail spur to Kingsland GA refinery. Drivers may be dispatched to pick up UMO from branches within the FL GA AL SC. Drivers may be asked to stay out over the road when needed hotel will be provided during those trips. Home most days and weekends. Starting pay $27.00$28.00 per hour with OT after 40 hours.
About the role:
- Drivers average $80$105K per year
- $7500 signonbonus available
- Weekly home time
- Compensation includes hourly wages (all onduty nondriving time) and mileage pay

Responsibilities
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe workpractices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Operates tractor trailer tanker units
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/nonhazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
- Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintains daily logs time sheets expense reports dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- 12 months of Class A driving experience
- 3 months of tanker experience
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- Ability to climb and work from heights
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
