Our client provides system integration services to a very diverse set of industries from biotechnology & pharmaceuticals to metals & mining. They are seeking a Hardware Designer to join their team. As a Hardware Designer you are responsible for all tasks associated with the control panel design PLC layout development implementation and documentation of control and management information systems which meet the customers functional and schedule requirements.
We are seeking a designer that will be responsible for all tasks associated with the design development implementation and documentation of control and management information systems which meet the customers functional and schedule requirements as well as developing future project quotes and occasionally visiting customer sites.
Job Requirements:
Ability to draft engineering drawings for control and automation systems utilizing ACEs CAD/Design Department
Knowledge of correct technical execution of project work as assigned by the Project Manager or the Project Engineer. Their work will be in the areas of:
Instrumentation (application mechanical installation interconnection etc.) and electrical
schematics interconnections power conduit cable etc.
Able to convert the ideas and concepts presented by the engineer into drawings that contain all of the necessary and correct detail information.
Proficiency in communication and experience with advising project managers on conflicting information.
Experience with following company procedures and standards for consistency and quality.
Able to assist in developing new or revised procedures that are needed to improve quality and productivity.
Experience testing control panels and setting up inhouse systems for development and testing purposes.
