Position Overview
We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant with at least 1 year of experience who is proficient in animal restraint and blood draws. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively restrain animals for examinations procedures and treatments
- Perform blood draws with precision and efficiency
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with diagnostics treatments and procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation
- Provide compassionate support to patients and clear communication to clients
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Assistant
- Proficiency in animal restraint and blood collection
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
