Our client is an investment advisory and asset management firm based in Bangkok.
They specialise in offering tailored financial solutions to highnetworth individuals (HNWIs) family offices and institutional investors across Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Position Overview:
They are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Specialist to join their growing team. This role is critical in expanding their client base nurturing longterm relationships and increasing their assets under management (AUM).
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial services sales excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build trust with sophisticated investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify qualify and pursue new business opportunities with HNWIs family offices and institutional investors.
- Conduct needsbased assessments to understand client objectives risk appetite and investment preferences.
- Present companys investment products and bespoke financial solutions with clarity and professionalism.
- Work closely with internal investment compliance and operations teams to develop customized proposals.
- Develop and execute a structured outreach plan using a mix of networking referrals events and digital tools.
- Maintain CRM records prepare sales reports and analyse client feedback for continuous improvement.
- Monitor market trends competitor activity and regulatory updates to inform sales strategy.
- Support the leadership team with strategic projects related to client acquisition and retention.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or related field.
- 3 years of experience in business development sales or relationship management in the financial services or investment advisory space.
- Demonstrated track record in achieving sales targets and closing highvalue accounts.
- Strong understanding of investment products (e.g. mutual funds private equity wealth management solutions).
- Familiarity with Thailands financial regulatory environment (SEC AMLO BOT regulations).
- Excellent communication skills in Thai and English both verbal and written.
- Selfstarter with strong organizational and presentation abilities.
- High ethical standards and clientfirst mentality.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience dealing with HNWIs or family office clients.
- Existing client network or relationships within the financial or corporate sector.
- Certifications such as IC License CFP or CFA (Level 1 or higher) are a plus.
