Perform daily inspections at food processing establishments including Baking products processing plants and storage facilities to ensure adherence to sanitation quality and safety standards set by FSIS.
Conduct inspections of Inventory and food products before and after distribution to verify compliance with health food & safety guidelines and identify any signs of disease or contamination.
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans to prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure proper handling and processing of products.
Collect samples of inventory and egg products for laboratory testing and analysis ensuring that they meet the required safety and quality standards.
Review and assess records of production labeling and packaging to verify accurate information to protect consumer health and prevent misbranding or adulteration.
Act as a liaison between the food establishment management and FSIS providing guidance on regulatory compliance and addressing any concerns or violations promptly.
