Supply Chain Contracts Professional
Bell has openings in our Fort Worth TX headquarters for experienced Supply Chain Procurement Contracts Professionals with USG Military/Defense Contracting experience to support a role in Bells New Aircraft Product Development Programs.
In this role you are responsible for establishing optimal longterm and highdollar procurement contracts that enables the Supply Chain Organization and Programs to achieve its strategic objectives. This Contracting Professional works directly with the Integrated Products Team Lead and Program Team to identify and contract with the appropriate sources for new and existing aircraft subsystems.
What youll be doing as a SC Contracts Sr Professional
Evaluating new current and existing suppliers for fit with strategic purchasing contracts preparing and issuing requests for proposal (RFPs). Facilitating the bid evaluation and downselection process. - Prepares negotiation strategies and conducts contract negotiations employing cost scenario models contracting strategy techniques and negotiation support tools to advance the commoditys key supply chain objectives and finalizes contract awards.
Negotiates with the supply base to meet internal objectives. Build collaborative relationships with vendors and internally across Bells engineering manufacturing finance and military program teams. In all activities the Contracting Specialist ensures compliance with all government contracting regulations and internal administrative requirements.
- Experience in Strategic Sourcing Supplier and Commodity Mgmt supplier relationships Contracts Supply Chain Management project management.
Supplier Development and total cost of ownership preferred. Analytical experience in a commodity. Supply chain management in new product development experience. Experience applying Six Sigma / Lean Principles / Tools. Preferred proficiency in SAP CLM ENOVIA QlikView PowerBI or other similar software application. Strong business acumen. Ability to deal well with ambiguity. Strong negotiating skills. Excellent writing presentation and communication skills.
What you need to be successful
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Mgmt. Business Administration Industrial Technology/Management Engineering Finance Accounting Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience at all levels will be considered. However at least 2 years supply chain contracts experience in one of the following areas: DOD / USG Procurement Contracts for military / defense industry strategic sourcing. Negotiating manufacturing procurement contracts supporting New Product Development. Prototyping supplier and source selection.
Youll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule 80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO) 120 hours Vacation time 1213 paid holidays per year - 6 weeks parental leave
