What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic:
You can expect to conduct thorough inspections maintenance and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities include:
Performs a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly rework repair replacement reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.
Performs turbine engine troubleshooting inspection repair and engine runups.
What you need to be successful:
High school education or GED required.
Must have hours of OntheJob training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) reviewed and evaluated by an FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO).
Must be able to test for your Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings within 90 days of starting.

We are hiring immediately for a fulltime aircraft mechanic. This role is critical to our mission so we are offering veterans the opportunity to use your prior military aircraft maintenance experience to become a licensed A&P mechanic.
Start your career at Textron Aviation in this role and we will provide a twoweek prep course and pay for you to obtain your Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certifications within 90 days of your start date.
