Job Summary:
To perform modification work and structural repairs on experimental production and fielded aircraft.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of duties in the performance of modification work and structural repairs on
experimental production and fielded aircraft. Requires the ability to plan and perform a sequence
of operations where standard methods are available.
Repairs a variety of malfunctions concerned with complex aircraft assemblies landing
gear systems props optional equipment and hydraulic and pressurization systems.
Performs sheet metal and assembly work in the performance of modification and service
work.
Performs minor upholstery and touchup type paint work.
Assists higher grade Mod Mechanics in the performance of functional test and repair of aircraft
and other tasks as necessary.
Uses equipment to operate and functional test various aircraft systems using a variety of hand
tools. Maintains clean working area.
Responsible only for own work.
Performs other related duties as required.
