The resort also features 22 Food and Beverage outlets 1056 sqm ballroom with 8 breakout rooms wide variety of recreational facilities and a spa with 12 treatment villas.
The Food & Beverage Order Taker is responsible for accurately taking guest food and beverage orders over the phone or in person and ensuring timely and professional communication with the service and kitchen teams. The role is crucial in delivering a seamless and personalized dining experience handling guest requests efficiently and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.
As F&B Order Taker you are expected to:
Greet guests politely and professionally over the phone or in person.
Accurately take food and beverage orders according to hotel or restaurant standards.
Upsell menu items and promote daily specials or recommendations.
Ensure clear understanding of guest orders including any dietary restrictions or special requests.
Enter orders correctly into the POS or ordering system and communicate with kitchen and service teams.
Confirm order details and delivery time with guests.
Handle guest complaints inquiries or requests courteously and escalate to supervisors when needed.
Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and guest satisfaction.
Coordinate with Room Service Kitchen and Stewarding teams for smooth operation.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu ingredients and preparation methods.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the order-taking station.
Keep records of guest preferences feedback and special requests.
Assist in compiling guest feedback reports and suggesting improvements.
Follow proper telephone etiquette and uphold company service standards.
Handle cash credit card transactions or room charges accurately when applicable.
Previous experience in F&B hospitality or customer service roles preferred.
Strong communication skills and a friendly professional telephone manner.
Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Familiarity with POS and reservation/order systems.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Neat appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
