JOB SUMMARY:
The Content Strategist will lead the development and execution of global content strategies and campaigns aimed at reaching targeted audiences. This role involves managing digital research campaign planning user journey mapping and content production. Also the position requires executing crosschannel publication and distribution and leveraging content trends and data for impact.
This position will serve with a team of creative professionals responsible for representing Textron Aviations leadership position in the marketplace by helping shape the Companys corporate narrative and global reputation to increase brand awareness and affinity with key target audiences including media industry influencers enthusiasts customers employees elected officials and public and private partners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Strategy
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy to achieve specific business outcomes and reach targeted audiences
Leverage digital research audience persona information and related information to strategize large scale content campaigns
Regularly analyze the big picture of content to identify deviation from or areas for improvement in content strategy
Create and oversee the editorial guidelines that ensure a consistent brand voice and accessible formats for the different types of content
Collect analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to develop a thorough understanding of audience motivations preferences and opinions and use these to improve content strategy and channel usability
Channel Management
Lead user journey mapping for digital experiences to facilitate crosschannel user journeys
Keep abreast of channel trends to understand where audiences are most active and adapt strategy accordingly
Leverage all channels to build affinity for the company among stakeholders and audiences
Identify and monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of digital channels and social media programs
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree required in Communications Journalism Marketing or related field
Minimum 5 years of media relations marketing strategic communications or relative experience is required.
