Job Description
LK Jordan is hiring on behalf of our client in the East Side of Houston for a critical fulltime position.
Were seeking a Quality Operations Technician with strong CNC milling skills and a solid machining foundation. Candidates must be comfortable reading and editing programs and working in a highpaced dynamic environment with repetitive but important tasks. This is a handson role with both operational and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Cut and prepare samples using CNC milling equipment bandsaws and more
Perform mechanical testing (tensile Charpy etc.)
Enter results into internal systems and generate product certificates
Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment; perform preventive maintenance
Communicate with operations and sales teams regarding testing priorities and material holds
Requirements
35 years experience with CNC milling and cutting equipment
Ability to read/edit programs and interpret technical documents
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Reliable work history with minimal job changes
High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing/lab environment experience
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ASTM standards
Associate degree or higher is a plus
