Now Hiring: CNC Mill-Turn Operator
Location: Lino Lakes MN
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour depending on experience level
Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-1:30am
Employment Type: direct hire
About this Opportunity:
The CNC Mill-Turn Operator will machine parts to specification assisting with setting up and operating CNC machinery as assigned to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts. Saw-cut stock material maintaining quality and safety standardscheck each product and record measurements maintaining traceability by following documentation processes. Perform preventative maintenance per procedure on machines and equipment. Observe machining factors like speed feed coolant flow depth and angle of cut and alert the Level 1 machinist of any areas of concern. Assist in general housekeeping quality and safety processes.
What Youll Be Doing:
Under the guidance of a Level 1 Machinist operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations as assigned.
Strive for continuous improvement and work with high product integrity and be dedicated to act in accordance with the companys safety and quality policies.
Confer with Level 1 Machinists concerning new/challenging product design and tooling needs to ensure efficient production methods.
Manufacture product to customer and industry standards and specifications.
Adhere to inspection traceability and documentation procedures and utilize prevention/detection methods for every manufacturing task.
Perform measurements and visual inspection checks on products detect malfunctions aid in the troubleshooting process and be aware of worn tools.
Calculate basic dimensions and/or tolerances.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Work overtime and weekends as required.
What makes you a great fit:
Some prior CNC operating experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and
procedure instructions.
Basic measurement of close tolerances.
Basic usage and understanding of inspection tools and interpretation of blueprints.
Mechanical and mathematical knowledge.
