Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to deliver comprehensive quality healthcare in an efficient and costeffective manner to the people of the community. As a member of the Healthcare team and lead by the Chief Medical Officer the Primary Care Physicians role is vital to the successful completion of the above stated goal. Fourday work week (10hour days). J1 Visa eligible.

As providers of care that is oriented towards the patients family and community all physicians (Internist Pediatricians Obstetrician/Gynecologist General Medicine or Family Medicine) will adhere to the mission vision role values goals objectives and procedures as defined in the Administrative and Operations Policy and Procedure Manual of Saint James Health.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and coordinate all aspects of patient care including: responsibility for proper maintenance of the medical record (i.e. charting); problem followup; and arranging for and coordinating specialty consultations.
- Provides primary care using generally accepted standards of practice. The physician develops a plan of care for each patient including complete history physical examination diagnosis appropriate treatment and /or referral uses all available resources in an appropriate and costefficient manner.
- Makes appropriate specialty and subspecialty referrals but maintains responsibility assuring continuing of care.
- Performs medical office procedures.
- Participates in regular call coverage.
- Participates in health promotion/disease prevention activities. Stresses the importance of preventive health care measures.
- Supports midlevel providers in supervision and consultation.
- Participates in facilitating and maintaining a continuous quality improvement process and maintaining systemwide clinical quality standards.
- Providing feedback and receiving feedback from other physicians on performance and quality issues through peer evaluation process and chart audits.
- Maintenance and utilization of an electronic medical record (EPIC).
- Enthusiastic involvement in community activities (as part of the work week) as designated by the Chief Medical Officer. Such activities might include health fairs presentations of health subjects at community facilities etc.
- The Primary Care Physician will perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited school of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine required
- Board Certified Primary Care Physician
- Experience working in Family Practice environment community health experience preferred
- Valid NJ medical license CDS DEA
- BLS and ACLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
