Job Description
Classification: Nonexempt
Department: Logistics
Reports to: Logistics Supervisor
Position: Night Shift
Purpose:
The Logistics Tech provides support in the loading/unloading of trucks and material handling functions to support production.
General Duties:
- Safe operation of forklift activity.
- Unloading of material from vendors.
- Putting away material to appropriate departments.
- Picking/scanning/loading of customer orders.
- Material handling of FG material from production area to warehouse.
- Perform inventory counts.
- Maintain 5S activity in warehouse
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Excellent problem solving and time management.
- Ability to work well in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision when required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience working in a multicultural company is preferred.
- Experience in automotive sector is preferred.
