POSITION SUMMARY
Textron Systems is looking for talented CAD Librarian to support the Textron Systems organization. This position will be responsible for creating and electrical and mechanical models in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software.
This role will receive tasking from CAD Administrators. You will work with engineers on the creation and quality checking of engineering vendor part models to support production technical data packages in compliance with Military ASME and Company standards and process guides. This role will include cataloging of vendor and suppliercontrolled hardware models and specifications. The applicant will be expected to quickly develop skills necessary for utilization of company tools (NX2206 SolidWorks Siemens Capital and JIRA).
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Creation and maintenance of mechanical hardware models from specification sheets.
Creation and maintenance of electrical components and hardware models from specification sheets.
Receive create and record JIRA tickets for tracking of assignments.
Cataloging of vendor and suppliercontrolled components models and specifications.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and programs to support needed mechanical hardware and electrical components.
Help generate supporting documentation and standards for use and creation of hardware parts.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Associate degree in Drafting and Design Technology or equivalent preferred.
Experience in a 3D solid modeling software.
Experience with 2D CAD software.
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to visualize components and assemblies in 3D.
Knowledge of drafting principals.
Knowledge of reading and understanding MIL specs and electrical spec drawings
Familiarity with ASME Y14 standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Word Excel Outlook.
Highly organized efficient and selfmanaging.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Qualification Bachelor or Masters in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
