Where Does This Role Fit In
Dan y Bryn is set in beautiful landscaped surroundings in the small village of Ynysmeudwy on the outskirts of Pontardawe. Were known for our excellent reputation as a quality and valued care provider where the needs of our residents are always at the heart of what we do.
What is the Role
As a Team Leader youll play a key role in supporting both residents and staff throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include:
Motivating and leading the care team to provide exceptional support.
Ensuring safety and wellbeing by following all safeguarding policies and procedures.
Supervising & mentoring Care Workers to help them develop and thrive.
Maintaining records and documenting any concerns accurately.
What Skills and Experience Do You Need

At least 2 years experience in a care worker role.
NVQ/QCF Level 2 (or equivalent) and a willingness to work towards Level 3.
Experience in implementing and updating care plans risk assessments and audits.
Leadership experience including team management supervision and conducting annual appraisals.
