Gathering 800 employees 7 billion downloads and over 200 million active users Voodoo is the #3 mobile publisher worldwide in terms of downloads after Google and Meta. Our portfolio includes charttopping games like Mob Control and Block Jam alongside popular apps such as BeReal and Wizz.
Team
At BeReal we are dedicated to authenticity in social media. By encouraging users to share unfiltered moments we foster genuine connections and celebrate real life. We are now an international team of 60 and have 30M monthly active by Voodoo our team is fully focused on scaling BeReal into an iconic social network used by hundreds of millions.
Role
Weve built BeReal with a tiny technology team of worldclass engineers and we intend to keep this mindset as we scale it to hundreds of millions of users. To achieve this we ship new features faster than any other scaled social network while upgrading our infrastructure. We work in small teams of generalists and give each engineer high autonomy to make product related decisions.
- Construct and manage robust data pipelines to align with everevolving business needs ensuring optimal architecture support.
- Contribute to the codebase push and maintain your changes in production and be an evangelist of good coding and data engineering practices
- Take ownership of projects from initial discussions to release including feature estimation & scoping architecture design benchmarking of new technologies product feedback...
- Work in a very agile environment with a fast decision process
- Collaborate directly with people working on backend development data science mobile games broad audience mobile apps product & marketing

Profile
- Extensive experience as a Data Engineer or another similar role.
- A proven track record of building and optimising data pipelines for massive amounts of data (at scale).
- Strong experience in scalability reliability and security topics.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with unstructured datasets.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Resultoriented and focused on the value created by your developments
- Curious about business needs and keen to create innovative agile solutions to help grow the business through data.
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of ML concepts is a plus.
