Job Description
What You Can Expect
As the Risk Control Intern you will be responsible for identifying assessing and mitigating operational risks associated with trading activities systems and processes. This role ensures the organizations operations and profitability are safeguarded by continuously monitoring and adjusting risk controls investigating incidents and enforcing risk policies and frameworks.
- Continuously monitor risk controls investigate operational incidents (system outages process errors compliance breaches) analyze root causes and implement corrective actions
- Develop and enforce operational risk policies procedures and frameworks aligned with trading environments and regulatory requirements
- Assess risks related to critical trading technologies establish business continuity and disaster recovery plans and manage disruptions like cyberattacks or market shocks
What Youll Bring
- A minimum pursuing a bachelors degree in finance economics business administration or a related field
- A proficiency in risk management tools and systems
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Hourly Range: $22.50 $29.50 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
ENGIE complies with all federal state and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography experience education internal pay alignment or other bona fide factors.
