Job Description
LK Jordan has an immediate opening for a Fabricator located near the AT&T center. This organization is looking for detailoriented individuals who thrive in a fast paced team environment. This is a longterm temp to hire opportunity. Typical schedule is 6:30am3:00pm or 2pm 11pm Monday Friday.
Previous metal fabrication experience is a PLUS and pay starts at $17.00 $23.00 DOE!
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Examine specifications of order using blueprints drawings and/or work orders to determine characteristics of finished item materials to be used and machine setup requirements.
Ability to select appropriate tools and equipment needed to fabricate work pieces as determined by work order specifications.
Examine work piece visually by touch or using tape rule calipers or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards.
Ability to read gauges dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Utilize a press brake machine to bend and shape sheet metal.
Perform other duties as requested directed or assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Minimum 1 year of fabrication experience or six months of experience with related trade school certification.
Ability to lift 40 pounds or more frequently.
Must pass background check and drug screen.
