To be responsible to oversee & coordinate for Freight Forwarding Vessel Bookings & other activities related to Global RoRo Ocean shipments for all regions.
Position will also include Planning Executions Negotiations with External & Internal stake holders.
Primary point of contact/ subject matter expert to handle assigned tasks.
Display proficiency in Operational & Technology functions.
SME representing the team in various Global forums & Leadership meetings
Responsibilities
Maintain & update New Dealer profiles Master data maintenance in GLADS.
Vessel Booking Process Coordinate with all related stake holders and booking of VINs in the system.
Process Re Invoicing with related functions.
Compliance & Support Activities conduct internal audits on accuracy of Bill of Lading Commercial Invoices and other documents.
Compliance with Laws Rules & Regulations to ensure shipments are inline with US Export control laws and regulations.
Ensure tracking country specific statutory requirements port inspections specifications.
Process Re Invoicing & ReExports with related functions.
To handle vessel booking process for sea shipments from US to Mexico
Collaborate with Plants & team for market specific requirements.
Freight Payment Support Receive/Approve invoices from Carriers & Forward to accounts payables.
Special Shipments handling (Prototype / Dealer demo) Freight forwarding and documentation activities.
To handle EUR 1 Process & Spot Buy process
Handling Container Shipments process
To define/ review KPI metrics and monthly reporting
Qualifications
Engineering Graduate (Prefer BE Automotive Mechanical)
10 years with team leading experience
Good knowledge of Vehicle distribution processes. Strong Analytical Skill and Logical Thinking
Working experience in Logistics Industry / International Freight. Additional knowledge of Customs will be preferred.
Proficient in MS office. Good Business Communication and Project management Skills. Expertise in Excel Macro Programming/writing SQL Queries.
Knowledge in Dashboard creation tools Power BI
Presentation skills Team spiritsHigh integrity with positive attitude & interpersonal skills should be able to communicate at all levels would be responsible to present to senior management across CBGs
Strong verbal written and listening skills. Ability to relate to employees at all levels of the business. Be able to communicate at all levels.
Flexibility to work (early morning or late evening) to accommodate time zone difference
