Description

Join our Payment Operations team and be part of a unit that offers innovative solutions and services across multiple asset classes and geographies. As a Payment Operations Specialist you will ensure timely and accurate settlement of payments contributing to J.P. Morgans leadership in clearing custody operations and technology solutions.

As a Payment Operations Specialist within EMEA Payments Operations Team you will support the timely settlement of payments for our global clients. You will work in a dynamic environment managing transaction activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job responsibilities:

  • Monitors transaction activity and controls settlement timeframes for fund transfers.
  • Repairs payment transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Verifies transactions to meet compliance standards.
  • Processes manual instructions for global currencies.
  • Reviews researches and processes incoming funds transfers ensuring accurate client account crediting or returning funds to the remitting bank.
  • Leads or contributes to operational improvement initiatives and projects as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • Supports incident management and remediation as required.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Previous experience in an operational financial services or customer services environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Resilient interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with internal stakeholders.
  • Clientfocused with a strong controls mindset.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to personal workload and team targets.
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workload.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Resultsoriented with the capability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Proficiency in PC applications such as Excel Word and Access.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • FX & FXO experience
  • Working knowledge of the IB funds transfer policy
  • Knowledge of TSSFX and Athena i
