The role:
We currently have an opportunity for an Operations Controller to join the organisation within our Eastern Operation team in Sydney.
The key objective for this role will be to deliver and maintain the operational requirements to meet contractual KPIs as well as the Coordination and execution of all operational requirements and the provision of administration support to the NSW Operations Management team.
Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Assist the Head of Eastern Operations with the daytoday requirements of CareFlights NSW
Operations to ensure contractual compliance and meet contract KPIs.
Provision of afterhours support across all operations roster will be an equal time roster of 5 days on 5 days offin office and on call overnight for after hours support for all contracts.
Ensure accurate and timely communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding service deliverables.
Ability to provide appropriate and timely operational support to CareFlight teams and external clients after hours.
Oversight of the HelpPoint roster to ensure appropriate coverage with the ability to cover short notice roster changes on occasion.
Managing and coordinating CFAA international and domestic missions. Provision of after hours support for these missions.
Daily operational status reporting to internal and external customers.
Liaising with the engineering department to manage short and longterm engineering requirements.
Maintain mission information for all contracts to ensure statistical reporting is able to be undertaken and provided where required/requested.
Assisting other departments as required in the scheduling of training for crew roster changes and travel requirements.
Assist with the production of NSW contract reporting.
Be a CareFlight ASIC agent and draft supporting documentation for applications and renewals.
Be trained in Coordination to provide flexibility with roster coverage.
Willingness to lead and step into the Operations Managers positions when required to cover leave.
Provision of afterhours support across PTS CRRH and CFAA operations.
Other duties as requested by the Head of Eastern Operations.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Essential
A strong ability to problem solve think outside the box make decisions and propose negotiate and action solutions.
High level of organisational and logistical administration skills.
The ability to follow procedures meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A high standard of computer literacy with excellent Word and Excel skills.
Proven ability to work independently with attention to detail to manage multi tasks in a fastpaced environment.
The ability to work a shift roster pattern (5on5off) with a 24 hour oncall requirement.
The ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
Desirable
Experience in aviation operations.
Previous logistics experience.
Knowledge of aviation terminology.
Experience with Air Maestro.
