Job Description

Logistick Inc. is a fastpaced entrepreneurial freight securement company servicing many Fortune 1000 customers including some of the biggest most progressive companies today. This highly successful B2B sales company has increased revenue by about 50% in the last 6 years thanks to patented industryleading products and its culture of innovation growth and customer centricity. Logistick is seeking an experienced initiativetaking detailoriented and solutionsminded individual to fill our Procurement & Inventory Manager role.


  1. Basic Functions:
  • Responsible for the continued development of Purchasing strategies managing supplier relationships inventory procuring materials for third party manufacturing.
  • Act as the primary contact for New Product Development and the sourcing of Buy/Resell products.
  • As a key member of the Operations & Supply Chian Team you will be responsible for expanding profit margins analyzing market trends forecast demand and mitigate supply chain risk.
  • Work closely with engineering finance fulfilment and our thirdparty manufactures.

  1. Reporting Relationships:
  • Reports To: VP of Supply Chain & Operations
  • Manages: This position does not have direct reports but will be responsible for managing the Purchasing & Inventory function.
  • R&D Sales Finance Third Party Manufacturing as well as Suppliers


  1. Responsibility & Duties:
  • Supplier Management Responsibilities:
    • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers both domestically and internationally. Conduct thorough assessment to ensure suppliers meet quality cost and delivery requirements.
    • Negotiate and Manage Contracts; Pricing INCOTERMS terms and conditions of payment with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration to ensure a reliable supply chain. Address any issues or concerns promptly to maintain positive partnerships.
    • Monitor Suppliers quality and delivery performance and have quarterly business reviews.
    • Identify and mitigate risk associated with domestic and international suppliers and develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
    • Ensure that all supplier activities comply with relevant laws regulations and company policies.
    • Analyze and manage costs associated with domestic and international suppliers. Implement strategies to optimize procurement cost while maintaining quality and reliability.
    • Communicate and coordinate communication between suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of suppliers activities into Logistick operations.
  • Demand Planning for Direct Materials
    • Utilize our Business Central ERP System to determine quantity and timing of direct materials needed for production. Ensure alignment with production schedules and customer demand.
    • Integrate demand forecasts with material planning to ensure accurate and timely procurement of direct materials. Adjust plans based on changes to demand and production requirements.
    • Maintain optimal inventory levels of direct materials to support uninterrupted production. Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce carrying cost.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of direct materials. Communicate material requirements and forecast demand to suppliers to facilitate efficient supply chain operations.
    • Monitor and manage lead times for direct materials to ensure they align with production schedules. Implement strategies with suppliers to reduce lead times and improve supply chain responsiveness.
    • Collaborate with our thirdparty manufacturing team to align material planning with production schedules to ensure materials are available when needed to support production.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning.
    • Maintain standard naming conventions and coding structures for Logistick direct material part numbers.
    • Oversee inventory cycle counts to ensure system accuracy of raw materials and finished goods.
    • Oversee the processing of daily inventory receipts and inventory transactions.

  • Secondary Duties:
    • Spearhead purchasing activities for New Product Development (NPD).
    • Maintain Direct Material Cost Save Funnel.
    • Maintain Supplier Approval List.
    • Other duties as assigned by management to support Supply Chain & Operations.

  1. Job Requirements:
  • Experience requirements: a minimum of 5 years Procurement and 5 years Inventory Management.
  • Education requirements: 4year BS degree in Supply Chain Business Management or Engineering.
  • Proficient in ERP system Business Central 365 a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel Demand Planning SharePoint.
  • Must have strong work ethics be well organized and a selfstarter.
  • Detail oriented professional attitude the ability work through highly detailed processes with reliability & accuracy.
  • Strong problemsolving skills documentation skills research and resolution skills data analysis and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fastpaced and highvolume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • True team player work together with members of administration team to complete tasks outside normal responsibilities.

  1. Criteria for Measuring OntheJob Success:
  • Deliver 34% direct Material Cost Savings.
  • Maintain 99% accuracy of Finished Goods Inventory.
  • Maintain 98% Cycle Count accuracy of Raw Material Inventory.
  1. Physical activities and requirements:
  • Shuttle shipping and receiving paperwork between office & manufacturing/warehouse site.
  • Walking production facility to cycle count inventory levels.
  • Ability to lift cases of product up to 35 lbs.
