Compensation Range: $20.00 $22.00 per hour

About the Position:

We are currently seeking a HR Administrator to provide valueadded services in all areas of Human Resources. The HR Administrative Assistant will provide highlevel administrative support to the Vice President of Human Resources. This role requires a proactive organized and detailoriented professional who can manage sensitive information with discretion. The Administrative Assistant will also be responsible for a variety of general office administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations within the HR department and the broader office environment. Some of the duties and responsibilities of the position are but not limited to:

  • Provide daily administrative support to the VP of Human Resources including calendar management meeting coordination travel arrangements assist with Board presentations and confidential correspondence.
  • Draft format and proofread HRrelated documents such as memos letters reports presentations and organizational charts.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes including posting job openings scheduling interviews preparing new hire packets and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Maintain HR records personnel files and employee databases in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Assist with employee communications engagement initiatives and event planning (e.g. training sessions recognition programs teambuilding activities).
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external HR meetings including preparation and distribution of agendas minutes and related documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between the HR department and other departments or external vendors as needed.
  • Assist in compliance audits and documentation management for regulatory and policy adherence (e.g. I9 forms training certifications).
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies handling mail distribution coordinating office maintenance requests and maintaining an organized filing system.
  • Greet visitors answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with planning and logistics for companywide events meetings and conferences.
  • Serve as a backup point of contact for facility and vendor coordination.
  • Provide light support in financial processing such as submitting expense reports processing invoices and maintaining budgetary records for HR.

Background/Experience:

  • 1 year of administrative support experience preferably in a HR or executive office environment.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook); familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position operates in a professional office environment.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk hear sit stand and use hands and fingers.
  • Occasionally required to lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
