Job Description
Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars utility and personal transportation vehicles snowmobiles sidebysides allterrain vehicles professional turfcare equipment and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories airports to planned communities and theme parks to hunting preserves.
Responsibilities:
Drive material availability and influence superior internal customer service.
Drive execution excellence and collaborate with strategic and tactical functions programs production sites engineering and ISC operations (SIOP Quality Logistics etc.).
Communicate production readiness forecasting and shortage mitigation to increase tactical visibility and timely resolution on production and assembly needs.
Develop tools to increase visibility and identify leading indicators on material availability.
Work closely with tactical procurement teams to ensure purchase orders are issued outside or at lead time to support on time to PO delivery of production parts.
Serve as the primary POC for the organization to resolve emergent needs and coordinate actions and responses from core supply chain team.
Identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions to improve the business through operational efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in business Supply Chain Finance Accounting Engineering or related field required
Years of Experience: Level 2 Two or more years of related professional experience required; Level 3 Four or more years of related professional experience required
Software Knowledge: SAP inventory management systems Microsoft office products
Technical experience with commodities purchasing or manufacturing operations preferred
