Auxiliary and Support Services at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Campus Ambassadorto provide support to theParking Operations Unit. This position performs a variety of tasks to ensure a quality customer experience and the smooth operation of the parking facility that exceeds our customer/clients expectations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position is responsible for providing customer service support to the Parking & Transportation Unit at Georgia State University. This position may require you to be cross trained for another position and/or responsibility in order to provide both backup for a department as well as to supplement resources needed during certain times of the year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner at all times.
- Monitor and resolve all customer inquiries and control traffic at the entrance and exits at all assigned areas.
- Perform minor repairs across campus if needed or notify the manager immediately.
- Assist with general (light) maintenance tasks such as debris cleanup trash etc.
- Assisting customers with directions parking help and act as a traffic controller to direct incoming customers.
- Issue citations and warnings for noncompliance with a computerized handheld computer or manual tickets. Immediately report any accidents incidents or safety concerns to the appropriate dispatcher.
- Maintaining all assigned check lists. (Daily Weekly Monthly).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree; or high diploma or GED and four years of customer service administrative or office experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able and willing to work outside in all elements (heat rain snow cold).
- Positions within this classification are required to lift up to 30lbs. and bend stoop and twist.
- Knowledge and ability to understand and accurately apply laws rules regulations andpolicies.
- Must be able to operate efficiently and effectively in a fastpaced changing environment.
- License Requirement: The individual will be required to have and maintain a valid stateissued drivers license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
