Business Development Manager Fire and Safety Australia (Perth WA)

Fire and Safety Australia (FSA) is a registered training organisation (RTO: 22250) and a leader in emergency response and safety training as well as emergency response and medical personnel services. Established in 2007 FSA is a truly national business with both training and Medical and Emergency response personnel in every state and territory of Australia. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive growth within the Training Division of FSA.

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team in the Perth region. This role is critical in supporting FSAs expansion and growth as we continue to strengthen our presence in the region. You will manage existing client relationships and actively seek new business opportunities across the safety and emergency response sectors.

About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager you will:

  • Manage and grow a strong client base
  • Identify new business opportunities in safety and emergency response training
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to drive business growth
  • Support clients endtoend ensuring an exceptional experience
  • Work across diverse industries including Mining Oil & Gas Construction Defence Government and Infrastructure
  • Travel and business development responsibilities across Perth and regional Western Australia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies and plans
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Identify and secure new sales opportunities
  • Prepare business proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity
  • Maintain accurate sales data in Salesforce CRM
  • Report on sales performance and areas for improvement

What Youll Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development ideally in selling to the mining industry RTO or safety industry
  • Strong communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Experience using CRM tools ideally Salesforce
  • A proactive resultsdriven attitude with a clientfocused approach
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to compliance and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel)
