What is Sales Operations at papernest

Sales Operations mission is to optimize processes and tools for our call centers deploy new offers solve sales problems and effectively manage provider data to maximize revenues and customer satisfaction. At the intersection of Operations Product & Tech and external partners Sales Operations have a direct impact on revenue efficiency and team success.

About the Role

As the Sales Operations Lead you will play a pivotal role in shaping papernests growth by optimizing sales processes tools and strategies on the Spanish market. This role is both strategic and handson requiring you to lead a highperforming team drive operational excellence and ensure our sales infrastructure is scalable efficient and datadriven.

You will join a Sales Ops team of 10 people and directly manage an international Sales Ops team of 2 professionals based in the Barcelona office. If you love building optimizing and leading with impact this role is for you!

Missions:

Lead & grow the sales operations team:

  • Define and execute the team strategy roadmap and objectives to align with company OKRs.
  • Mentor and develop the team with a highperformance culture through coaching support and structured career progression.
  • Own HR processes: hiring performance management salary reviews and career growth.
  • Act as the final decisionmaker on complex operational and technical issues.

Optimize sales processes & technical integrations

  • Guide the Sales Operations team to enhance sales efficiency: improve processing time quality conversion rates and crosssell opportunities.
  • Oversee and coordinate all key sales processes and technical infrastructure with the team ensuring seamless API integrations data flows and automation.
  • Own incident resolution: support the sales team by solving daytoday operational and technical challenges.
  • Drive change management efforts to implement new tools processes and provider integrations with structured documentation training and testing.

Drive Growth & Operational Excellence

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement simplify and automate workflows using lean practices nocode tools and technical integrations (Salesforce Flows MAKE Zapier etc.).
  • Encourage collaboration and alignment between Sales Operations and crossfunctional teams (Operations Product & Tech Training Quality Sales external providers).

Own Performance & DataDriven Decision Making

  • Monitor and improve KPIs: own Sales Operations reporting and implement action plans to exceed OKRs.
  • Conduct deepdive data analysis (mastering SQL and Looker Studio) to identify bottlenecks and optimize processes.
  • Push the team to achieve excellence with strong routines and high standards providing coaching methodology and fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
  • Improve contract tracking: ensure smooth execution from initiation to invoicing


    Your profile :

    Leadership & Strategic Thinking

    • Strong experience in Operations
    • Proven experience in leading highperforming teams (from junior to senior profiles).
    • Ability to motivate challenge and develop people while fostering a culture of excellence.

    Technical & Analytical Expertise

    • Curiosity and a desire to learn especially in the areas of data and technology
    • Be handson with tech and proficiency in data analytics and automation
    • Knowledge of papernest stack: Salesforce BigQuery Looker Studio GitHub MAKE Zapier is a plus
    • Knowledge of one or several programming languages: SQL JSON Python Java HTML is a plus

    • Ownership & autonomy: ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.

    • Excellent ability to coordinate crossfunctional teams and external partners.
    • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at all levels.
    • Fluent in English and Spanish (French or Italian is a plus).
