Job Description: Radiation Therapist Lumberton
Company Overview
We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our team in Lumberton North Carolina. This role is critical in the delivery of highquality patient care in the field of radiation oncology.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer radiation treatments to patients in accordance with the prescribed treatment plan.
- Operate radiation equipment such as Elekta ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standards.
- Monitor patients during treatments and manage any side effects or concerns that arise.
- Document treatment procedures and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and procedures.
- Maintain equipment and prepare treatment areas to ensure a safe working environment.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
Essential Qualifications
- ARRT Certified is required.
- Open to new graduates from accredited radiation therapy programs.
- Prior experience with Elekta equipment is preferred.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
Salary & Benefits
The hourly salary for this position ranges from $36.83 to $47.74 and will be determined based on the candidates experience and interview performance. This role also includes a comprehensive benefits plan that encompasses medical dental vision coverage and a 401(k) plan.
