Job Description
Temporary Housing Officer
We are seeking a fulltime Temporary Housing Officer to join our team for a year working 36 hours per week. The role is based at the Orchard Housing Office and requires an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying vulnerable residents managing tenancy issues and effectively handling antisocial behavior cases. This role demands resilience quick thinking and the ability to thrive in challenging situations. The ideal candidate should be detailoriented adept at finding creative solutions and comfortable with confrontation. The position may involve outofhours meetings and lone working requiring daily use of a car and a full driving license.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying vulnerable residents and collaborating with partner agencies to ensure their safety and tenancy sustainability
- Managing all aspects of Tenancy Management including successions assignments mutual exchanges legal issues and court representation
- Proactively managing antisocial behavior cases negotiating solutions and maintaining detailed records
