You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe GovTeams Product Manager role involves developing a deep understanding of technical solutions business processes and user bases to deliver efficient and effective outcomes for Whole of Government technology platforms and products. This includes applying critical thinking to proactively address challenges deconstruct problems and form innovative solutions that consider business impact and potential risks.
This role will conduct research and analysis to translate business needs into requirements using structured tools and techniques such as documenting highlevel and detailed requirements mapping business processes and creating user stories. Additionally it will maintain the product backlog and engage with stakeholders to coordinate prioritisation sprint planning development phases user acceptance testing and releases.
Representing the Department you will promote the use of whole of government technology solutions at meetings with stakeholders across government. You will oversee the change process seek relevant approvals and liaise with service desk and communication staff about upcoming changes. Furthermore you will work with the product teams to set the vision for improving the services.
Key duties and responsibilities
This role requires previous experience as a product manager or demonstrated skills to perform the role in an agile environment and includes:
Developing a knowledge of the technical solution business process and user base.

Conducting research and analysis to translate business needs into requirements.
Maintaining the product backlog and engaging with stakeholders.
