The Opportunity
BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Branch Manager to join the WA Lead team based in Esperance. BlueScope Distribution is a singlesource provider of product processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.
You will be responsible for leading a team across customer service and operations. Previous steel or industry experience is not essential what we are looking for is your exceptional leadership experience. We have a structured onboarding process and you will have access to a strong internal network to help you successfully transfer into the steel industry.

What Will You Do
Leading a crossfunctional team spanning sales customer service and warehousing you will:
- inspire and lead the delivery of the branch business plan and budget: continue to develop implement and oversee a commercially astute business plan striving to exceed volume margin and profit targets
- set business objectives and operating standards: establish and communicate clear objectives and work standards monitoring team and individual progress
- foster an inclusive highperforming team: coach and motivate your team to enhance capability performance and engagement levels so objectives and work standards can be achieved
- build meaningful customer relationships: continue to grow collaborative partnerships with our existing customers and identify new business growth opportunities
- achieve optimal safety and operational outcomes: ensure effective processes and procedures are in place to keep our people safe and the site compliant with relevant acts legislation and business policies

We dont necessarily require you to have steel experience or know our products. After all leadership is a universal skill.
You will bring:
