Job Description
Role Purpose
The Senior Manager will play an integral role in the daytoday management of Sports Production finances including budgeting actualization and analysis. This position will support the Vice President Production Finance.
Responsibilities
- Frontfacing with Production & Operations as first point of contact schedules/attends regular budget meetings answers questions and prepares cost analysis as necessary
- Active involvement/Ownership of Production Budget processes including: Indepth preparation of budgets for upcoming season attending budget meetings manage followup work closely with Scheduling department to manage staffing schedules and budgets; assist with annual budget efforts: pacing and reporting identifying risks and opportunities
- Own processes for assigned areas FP&A and Controllership deliverables: monthly closing pacing estimates LRP budgets variances postclose financial reporting
- Lead/manage one direct report (Financial Analyst) with responsibilities including but not limited to: accurately code invoices coordinate approvals update operators and team members on status work with vendors as needed and actualize production budgets/update individual show models for accurate cost forecasting; posting of expenses in show models.
- Ad hoc projects and requests as necessary
Qualifications :
- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Excellent computer / analysis skills particularly in Excel
This position has been designated as hybrid generally contributing from the Stamford CT office a minimum of three days per week.
