The Workshop Associate is responsible for overseeing and managing the workshops spare parts inventory and fleetrelated supplies. The role ensures optimal stock levels timely fulfillment of spare parts requests coordination with vendors and effective workshop operations. The Associate plays a critical role in supporting vehicle maintenance efficiency through datadriven insights and operational excellence in stock and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daytoday operations of the workshop including inventory and fleet supply control.
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements and spare parts inventory.
- Fulfill spare parts requests from internal teams in a timely and efficient manner.
- Track and analyze vehicle repair and maintenance trends to inform procurement and reduce downtime.
- Liaise with approved vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality supplies and negotiate for the best terms.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and generate reorder alerts based on usage and lead times.
- Ensure proper storage labelling and shelflife tracking of all parts and consumables.
- Support costcontrol initiatives through inventory optimization and vendor negotiations.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status usage patterns and workshop KPIs.
- Collaborate with the fleet maintenance and procurement teams to align parts availability with repair schedules.
- Enforce compliance with safety quality and company policies in all workshop operations.
Additional Information :
Experience:
- Proven experience in inventory control and store management preferably within a logistics or automotive environment.
- Solid understanding of vehicle parts and components.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and supply chain negotiation.
- Working knowledge of data analysis tools for inventory trend analysis.
- Exposure to project management and the ability to execute workshop improvement initiatives.
- Ability to interpret technical repair data and translate into actionable supply decisions.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to work across departments. Familiarity with fleet management systems and GPS technologies.
