You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailMonitor and coordinate vehicle or service operations using dispatch software or communication systems.
Assign and schedule routes or calls for service based on urgency availability and efficiency.
Track and document the location status and performance of city vehicles or field personnel.
Maintain clear and continuous communication with drivers field staff supervisors and customers.
Handle emergency and nonemergency calls relaying critical information quickly and accurately.
Respond to delays breakdowns or incidents and adjust plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate logs reports and documentation for compliance and recordkeeping.
Provide support and direction to drivers contractors or service crews in the field.
Respond to customer inquiries provide service updates and resolve concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred).
Proven experience in dispatch logistics transportation or a related field.
Strong communication problemsolving and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with dispatch software GPS tracking systems and Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly.
Familiarity with city geography and municipal services is a plus.
Availability to work onsite including weekends or holidays if required
