The Waterfront Hotel is on the hunt for a motivated and outgoing Function & Sales Manager to lead the charge in growing our events and private bookings. With stunning water views a popular bistro and a vibrant local crowd this is your chance to take a highperforming venue to the next level. Youll be responsible for driving function sales managing endtoend event coordination and creating unforgettable guest experiences from birthdays to corporate catchups. Were after someone with a flair for building relationships a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering standout service.

This is a brilliant opportunity to become a Function & Sales Manager at the Waterfront Hotel.
What youll do:
- Assist with the design costing and organising of function packages
- Establishing and maintaining a customer database
- Making sales calls followingup and securing sales in a timely manner
- Coordinating function sales initiatives (if applicable)
- Prepare quotes on a timely basis i.e. within 24 hours
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors to the functions business
- Update and or maintain promotional materials including online mediums
Qualifications :
What youll need:
- Display a genuine passion and flare for the industry Love what you do and be a team player with a hands on attitude
- Prior experience in functions sales leadership with an ability to develop people
- Proven ability to develop strategic plans establish goals and objectives set performance targets and deliver projects on time
- Exceptional Stakeholder Management skills with the ability to manage inbound enquiries for functions on a multisite basis and be able to maintain a comprehensive client database using a Function Management System
