Job Description
At Greencross Preston we are BIG on teamwork and take a collaborative approach to most things with the clinic the whole team clients and patients have a real down to earth nature. All of us love to cuddle the patients chat with the clients and get our hands dirty when needed!
Our clinic is equipped with digital xrays and ultrasound inhouse pathology uptodate surgery and dental equipment 3 consult rooms a sterile surgery and digital xray room and designated cat and dog wards. We are a closeknit and fun team extremely driven and hardworking and are always supporting one another in every way we can.
Casual role or Parttime hours (2 days a week) available.

What attributes are we seeking in our new team member
- A motivated and passionate Vet Nurse that loves coming to work each day
- At least 2 years of clinical experience
- Someone with high attention to detail and can multitask
- Ability to deal with a varying work load and be able to prioritise work tasks
- Accountable and reliable
- A team player who can also work well autonomously
- Great communication skills
- Great customer service skills and be able to build rapport with our clients
- Eager to help drive our clinic initiatives and goals!
Your new role:
- Casual role or Parttime hours (2 days a week) available
- Undertaking general nursing tasks including pre and postoperative care animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice including surgical areas and equipment
- Handling client enquiries professionally in person by email and over the phone
