Are you a visionary technology leader passionate about shaping the future of enterprise architecture Were seeking an experienced technology leader to serve as our Director of Enterprise Architecture. This is an exceptional opportunity to drive technological transformation and innovation while establishing the architectural foundation for NYCHAs future.
Reporting to the VP of Technology Planning and Risk Management / CISO this strategic leadership role will be responsible for developing and maintaining our enterprise architecture framework technical standards and technology roadmap. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in guiding NYCHAs technical direction and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. Roles and Responsibilities
Oversee the architectural standards and frameworks to ensure the efficient operation of data telecommunications systems as part of the overall enterprise architecture.
Plan for improvements of existing data integrations as part of modernization initiatives and the enterprise architecture design.
Recommend the elimination of legacy data and telecommunications systems and associated equipment based on analysis and the IT roadmap.
Test evaluate and select the best data technologies and equipment available for use within the enterprise.
Review new data technology for possible use in improving operations and reducing costs.
Develop data and integration architectural standards procedures and policies related to data networks to ensure their continuing operational effectiveness within the enterprise architecture framework.
Provide architectural guidance and operational data to support budget projections related to data and telecommunications investments and function as an integral part of the technology investment decisionmaking processes.
Strategic Planning & Enterprise Architecture:
Partner with leadership to develop and evolve data technology strategy and architectural vision.
Establish and maintain enterprise architecture framework and governance model. Lead development and maintenance of data and enterprise technology roadmap.
Design and implement technical data standards patterns and reference architectures.
Guide solution architecture teams to ensure enterprise alignment with data telecommunications and technologies.
Drive data technology standardization and modernization initiatives:
Review new data technology for possible use in improving operations and reducing costs.
Test evaluate and select the best data and telecommunications technologies available for use by NYCHA.
Technology Innovation & Transformation:
Identify and evaluate existing and emerging data and telecommunications technologies for potential business value.
Lead proofofconcept and pilot programs for these new technologies.
Drive digital transformation initiatives through architectural leadership.
Foster culture of innovation within technology data and telecommunications teams.
Establish innovation frameworks and evaluation processes.
Plan for the establishment of new data and telecommunication systems and improve existing systems.
Technology Governance & Standards:
Develop and maintain data policies and standards.
Lead architecture review board and oversee review processes.
Drive portfolio rationalization and optimization initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
Oversee data technology and telecommunications investment decisionmaking processes.
Monitor and enforce data architectural standards compliance.
Develop standards procedures and policies to ensure the continuing operational effectiveness of IT systems.
Strategic Program Oversight:
Provide architectural oversight of major data and telecommunications programs.
Drive crossfunctional collaboration and consensus building.
Lead data and enterprise architectural assessments and recommendations.
Strategic Partnerships
Partner with business unit leaders on strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with technology teams across the organization.
Engage with vendors and partners on strategic initiatives.
Coordinate with security and compliance teams.

TELECOMMUNICATION MANAGER 82984
Qualifications :
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 24 credits in the field of voice and/or data telecommunications or in a pertinent scientific technical electronic or related area and four years of satisfactory fulltime experience in the performance of analytical planning operational technical or administrative duties in a voice and/or data telecommunications or closely related electronics planning management and/or service organization one year of which must have been in a highly specialized capacity and 18 months must have been in an executive managerial or administrative capacity or in the supervision of staff performing work in the voice and/or data telecommunications field; or
2. An associate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 12 credits in the field of voice and/or data telecommunications or in a pertinent scientific technical electronic or related area and five years of experience as described in 1 above; or
3. Education and/or experience equivalent to 1 above. However all candidates must have at least a fouryear high school diploma or its educational equivalent and one year of the specialized experience as described in 1 above and must possess the 18 months of executive managerial administrative or supervisory experience as described in 1 above.
