Job Description
Must have experience in programming qualifying and producing machined parts using CNC Mills CNC Lathes Wire EDM machines and manual milling & grinding equipment.
Must have experience creating saving and maintaining CNC programs using MasterCAM software from AutoCad or step files
Reports to: Tool and Die Supervisor
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Create save and maintain working drawings and files.
- Set up oneoff and/or production jobs to run for self and others.
- Maintain quality standards and tolerances.
- Keep records as directed in work orders for time and materials.
- Maintain equipment per OEM and PSG requirements.
- Work directly with engineering to design and manufacture tooling fixtures and production parts.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years minimum verifiable machinist experience and/or Technical Diploma.
- Ability to perform standard shop computations (math).
- Ability to read schematics (blue prints) engineering drawings and technical manuals.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance of equipment.
- Ability to utilize heat treat equipment.
