Aseptic Monitoring Technician - 2nd Shift (Wed-Sat)

Join Our Team as an Aseptic Monitoring Technician!

Were looking for a detailoriented and dependable team player to help support our cleanroom and process area operations through environmental monitoring and sampling.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Monitoring cleanrooms and process areas to ensure they meet environmental standards
• Collecting samples from highpurity water clean steam and compressed gas systems
• Handling and documenting samples in line with procedures and GMP requirements
• Helping manage lab supplies media and reagents to keep things running smoothly
• Supporting general lab functions including inventory management
• Cleaning temperaturecontrolled units and operating the autoclave
• Assisting with equipment maintenance and calibration coordination
• Using our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to track samples and results
• Pitching in for weekend holiday and oncall shifts when needed
• Helping train new team members

Please Note: This is an indoor labbased role in cleanrooms and controlled lab spaces. Most time will be spent in ISO 8 cleanrooms which have a few important guidelines:

• No cosmetics (makeup false lashes spray tans etc.)
• Short natural nails only (no polish or decorations)
• No jewelry except for medical alerts or a plain band ring
• Hair must be tied back and fully covered; facial hair must be neatly trimmed and fit under a beard cover

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or equivalent relevant experience
• Basic understanding of microbes microorganisms and contamination methods
• Strong communication skills and sharp attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Selfmotivated adaptable and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn multitask and follow procedures carefully
• Comfortable using computers and staying organized
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the biopharmaceutical or biotech industries
• Handson Environmental Monitoring experience
• Familiarity with cGMP standards
• Experience using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)

Additional Details: 

The position is fulltime second shift Wednesday Saturday 12:30 pm 11:00 pm. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer New York are encouraged to apply.
