As a QA Engineer you will join the IAAS Product Quality Assurance Team.
The role of the QA team is to continuously control/improve the quality of the Cloud IAAS product (MPI). As such it is a central team that works across the board managing the testing activities environments measurement best practices and providing support for the users and the component teams.
Involved from the design of developments to the production the teams goal is to achieve the expected level of quality of service while allowing the enrichment of the offer to meet the customers needs.
A QA Engineer works closely with:
- The QA lead to execute the test strategy report on testing activities & defect status
- The product owner to find/report gaps in the business logic and ensure that the software is creating value for the customer
- The developers (AZURE and AWS Competency Centers) for the BAU acceptance testing and the bugs fixing
- The entity experts for support purposes demos and documentation
This position will also review product documentation and track quality assurance metrics while monitoring all stages of product development to identify and resolve system defects & meet quality standards.
The objective of QA Engineer is to make sure that delivered product is matching the specifications requirements as well as the group standards (security audit...) by applying the principles and best practices of software quality assurance.
In this role you will:
- Maintain up to date documentation about automation tests
- Contributing to the creation of detailed test cases for manual execution(xray Jira)
- Assisting in the execution and validation of new features and functional regression coverage.
- Helping to identify and report defects supporting the team in their resolution.
- Providing support to end users through the developer support channel and contributing to documentation.
- Ensuring that assigned project deliverables meet quality objectives in functionality usability and basic regression testing.
Participating in documenting test cases POC and outcomes within a test case management application for future reference
Qualifications :
- University degree (Graduate profile) with Proven work experience in software quality assurance (at least 5 10 years)
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes (ISTQB certification is highly recommended)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Have experience in JIRA Confluence and Github.
- Proven ability to thrive in a matrixed multicultural and global environment.

Technical skills :
- Good knowledge in the Cloud ideally for both provider AWS and AZURE for infrastructure resources such as servers storage network database cloud security PaaS etc
- Knowledge on GitHub Actions TerraGrunt TerraTest AWS SDKAzure Goland SDK
- Understanding of the Quality assurance best practices with a good level of expertise (ISTQB certification is highly desired)
- Good ObjectOriented Programming & REST APIs understanding
- Handson experience with automated testing tools and technologies knowledge (Java Spring Selenium Testing Maven or similar) Terraform knowledge.
