Job Description
As Supply Chain Manager you will lead the Supply chain organization consisting of Operation Buying Logistics and supply chain planning. You are responsible for the complete supply chain performance.
You maintain the procurement and logistics data for all purchasing orders quotations materialcodes in cooperation with Masterdata and the procurement department.
You will use the available data for an analytical strategy for procurement and the supply chain. By analyzing the historic data and the future requirements including the forecast figures from the sales department you propose an approach to optimize the stock levels kept in the warehouse.
You assist the Procurement Specialist during the meetings with vendors by analyzing the historic price movements and challenging the price setting towards the market trends.
Operational tasks include Purchase Order Creation and Modification work closely with vendors to improve ontime delivery manage blocked invoices maintain the vendor data in SAP.
- Lead and manage the operation procurement manager Logistics manager and supply chain planning (production planning and supply chain planning)
- Perform performance reviews
- Project management related to efficiency gains and ERP related improvements.
- Analyze data and create reporting sheets on price setting
- Setup a strategy to maintain stock levels and business continuation
- Part of the operational management team and working closely together with Engineer and production
- Supply chain and production planning accuracy
- Report out on all relevant KPIs linked to Supply chain Inventory and supplier performance.
Qualifications :
- Min. 10 years of experience in supply chain or purchasing.
- You are analytical and like working with numbers
- You have a logical approach towards problem solving.
- Good knowledge of MS Office especially excel
- You have a sense of initiative; you are stress resistant & dynamic
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English French is a plus
