Follows up on requests from leisure (holiday) travel groups and manages the entire process effectively.
Develops tailormade programs in line with travel agencies specific requests.
Prepares and executes annual monthly and weekly sales action plans for the responsible segment.
Conducts a minimum of 15 corporate agency visits on a weekly basis.
Carries out regular market research to identify new travel agencies and companies with accommodation potential.
Maintains regular communication with agencies in their portfolio through phone calls and personal visits.
Establishes strengthens and sustains strong business relationships with travel agencies.
Negotiates rate agreements with potential agencies and monitors the revenue performance of these partnerships.
Works in close cooperation with the hotels sales team to ensure aligned sales efforts.
Coordinates with Reservations Reactive Sales and Events departments to ensure smooth operations.
Utilizes Opera PMS and Sales & Catering systems efficiently; enters and updates all client and agency information accurately.
Ensures that the agency portfolio is kept up to date and that all necessary data and reports are accurately recorded in the system.
Prepares weekly sales reports including detailed feedback on agency visits and meeting outcomes.
Monitors market trends and competitor activities sharing relevant insights with management to support strategic planning.
Attends agency and client events; welcomes key clients and partners at the hotel.
Actively participates in Sales & Marketing team meetings.
Promotes all hotel services and facilities effectively to travel agencies.
Ensures that all reservations are accurately entered into the system to support reliable reporting.
Prepares monthly reports related to their area of responsibility presents them to management and takes necessary action.
Communicates guest and client requests to relevant departments in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications :
A university degree in Tourism Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 23 years of experience in a similar sales role within the hospitality or leisure travel segment
Proficient in Opera PMS and Sales & Catering or similar hotel management systems
Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and develop segmentbased sales strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication presentation and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies and clients
Willingness and flexibility to travel and work outside standard office hours when necessary
Strong time management organizational and reporting skills
A collaborative team player who can coordinate effectively with internal departments
Competent in using Microsoft Office applications especially Excel Word and PowerPoint
Able to monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic input
Confident in professionally representing the hotel and promoting its full range of services
Fluent in English (a second foreign language is an advantage).
