Staff SW Engineer - C#, .Net, React (Full-Stack Developer)

Our People Technology team seeks a Staff Software Engineer in Bengaluru to deliver stateoftheart GAI solutions for our People Team. You will play a key role in aiding our business partners in building the next generation of People systems that incorporate GAI and enhances the employee experience.

In this role you will be part of a technical team of engineers to design develop and deploy new features in our People GAI platform solutions. There will be significant collaboration with business partners multiple Visa IT teams and thirdparty vendors. The ideal candidate will bring energy and enthusiasm to evolve our People Technology platforms easily understand business requirements and identify opportunities effectively resolved with technological solutions.

Responsibilities:

Be part of a group of engineers and help in developing GAI solutions using Azure OpenAI and address business challenges and enhance product performance.

Challenge and support our team to deliver lasting scalable and secure solutions that offer excellent user experiences.

Foster continuous learning innovation and improvement while empowering our team members for decisionmaking and project ownership.

Collaborate with project managers product managers cross functional teams to deliver every sprint on time and with great quality.

Communicate regularly with your leads manager and business partners understand their product roadmap manage their expectations and earn their trust.

Code document and implement new applications and as well as existingprograms

Contributeto enhancements and corrections to existing applications codebase

Developcode that complies with design specifications and meets security andbest practices. Coding must adhere to all standards for securitybe easily maintainable and have high system performance.

Define and monitor code quality and coding standards 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:
5 years of relevant work experience and a bachelors degree OR 10 years of
relevant work experience
Solid understanding of database design and management systems (both SQL
and NoSQL) expertise in performance optimization data security data
modeling and the ability to adapt to new database technologies.
Comprehensive understanding of LLMs and related Technologies (RAG
architecture Prompt engineering) and Azure services (Azure AI search Azure
storage).
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey
complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
4 6 years of experience with Python Microsoft .NET core C# coding and the
Visual Studio IDE and
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL
Experience with buildinguser interface using HTML CSS Angular and React
Frameworks
Knowledge of working in Big Data Gen AI technologies AI concepts and cloud
solutions is preferred.
Experience working in Agile methodology and DevOps is preferred.
Strong interpersonal facilitation and leadership skills with effective
communication (both written and verbal) and the ability to present complex
ideas clearly and concisely.
